If you’ve been watching the Pineapple Dance series on SkyOne then no doubt you have come across one of the main characters (ok he would no doubt say MAIN character) Louie Spence.  This guy is for real  Mr WYSIWYG himself.  The boundless enthusiasm and his infectious way of explaining his love for dance and the way the boys stretch in the cafe is classic viewing!

Louie Spence is one of the dance industry’s most unique talents, and if you are watching the show you can see why!  The air, the grace, the flow of lines as he swiftly drifts from room to room.. unprecedented! If you take a look at his Louie’s website apparently he is known as ‘Lay out Lou with liquid legs and a lisp’ !

Louie has extensive amount of experience under his belt (cue Louie for a double entendre) but in a nutshell goes like :

Louie Spence has appeared as dancer with many leading recording artists and in West End shows, including the original production of Miss Saigon and the London production of Cats, in which he played the role of Mr Mistoffelees. Louie was a judge on NBC’s Celebrity Circus in the U.S.A. and he can currently be seen in the Sky One documentary series ‘Pineapple Dance Studios’ in the U.K.
